Junior Cricket (6-14yr olds)

Junior cricket sessions will be held every Sunday morning from the 22nd April to the 9th September, with exception to the 5th August, as the club will be away on tour! The sessions will start at 10:30 and ending roughly around 12:00, depending on how much the kids want to carry on.

           In the sessions (taken mainly by Ralph Smith), the children will be taught basic batting, bowling and fielding techniques, using QuickCricket equipment (much safer than adult cricket kit), before going on to a match scenario, in which the parents are more than welcome to join in.

      Last year, mainly due to Ralph being at University, junior cricket never really got going, but this year, the club are decidedly more committed to encouraging the kids in the village to play cricket, so we are going to make sure that every session goes ahead as planned!
